Our Story

For more than two decades, hundreds of nonprofits have chosen Public Outreach to grow sustainable, ethical donor programs that last. From our early days on Canadian streets to today’s digital-first, data-driven strategies, we’ve built a reputation for transparency, innovation, and impact.

Today, we’re proud to be a woman-led team of strategists, fundraisers, and purpose-driven people, working alongside some of the world’s most impactful causes.

2002-2013

From the streets to strategy

Public Outreach began in Toronto with Médecins Sans Frontières as a pilot partner. Within months, UNICEF and Amnesty International became clients. The company expanded across Canada and the world, opening offices in Australia and the U.S. New standards were set for professionalism. And trusted partnerships were solidified with some of the world's most respected nonprofits.

2014-2019

Finding new channels

Phone fundraising evolved from a small in-house initiative to a major channel. Then, the digital practice launched to convert web and social interest into reliable monthly giving.

2020-2023

Resilience under pressure

Phone and digital operations double during the pandemic to help charities stay connected with supporters.

2024–2025

Building what's next

Face-to-face capacity has grown by over 100%, driving record-breaking acquisition results across North America. A strategic partnership with Grassriots expanded our ability to deliver complex, high-performance digital campaigns.
